The Diploma in Indian Head Massage Course Structure is:

Made up of 2 practical workshop weekends: 

  • Weekend 1: Indian Head Massage, (including Anatomy & Physiology)
  • Weekend 2: Indian Head Massage, (including Professional conduct and business awareness).

What is my commitment?

You need to allow time for approx  250 hours which includes case studies and on-line learning. 

This is an asynchronous course.  Attendance is required for both weekends.


Case study work and other assessment documents are done outside classroom hours.  The learning platform provided, includes videos and other tutorial support and assessments.  Class size is limited to no more than 6 students per class.

It was designed for:

1.  People who know nothing at all about Indian Head Massage.                                          2.  Practitioners who are already qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage, Beauty therapy etc. who want to add another skill and recognized qualification to their practice.               

3.  Nurses, Doctors, Aged Care Support Staff, etc. Who are curious to know more about Indian Head Massage to assist with upskilling hours or to be curious about a new skill set.

4.  People interested in getting into the Spa and Wellness sector to practice in hotels, spas, cruise ships etc.

Weekend 1: 16th to 17th March 2024 (in Nelson)

Weekend 1:  20th to 21st July (in Christchurch)

Weekend 1:  29th to 30th June (in Tauranga)

Weekend 2:  25th to 26th May 2024 (in Nelson)

Weekend 2:  21st to 22nd September 2024 (in Christchurch)

Weekend 2: 31st August to 1st September 2024 (in Tauranga)
