The aim of the ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical & theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the Wellness Industry.

The Diploma in Holistic Massage Course Structure is:

Made up of 2 weeks (including on-line theory, assessment & case study work): 

Please note, Anatomy & Physiology is an additional cost. 

Live Zoom classes will be held on each Anatomy & Physiology system, beginning in June every second week.  Dates to be confirmed for 2025.  

What is my commitment?

You need to allow time for approx 1000 hours which includes case study work and self study. 

This is a blended learning course.  Attendance is required for 2 weeks in Nelson.  

The teaching week runs from Monday through to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Case study work and other assessment documents are done outside classroom hours.  The learning platform provided, includes videos and other tutorial support and assessments.  Class size is limited to no more than 8 students per class.

Who is this course designed for?

It was designed for:

1.  People who know nothing at all about massage.                                                    

2.  Practitioners who are already qualified in Aromatherapy, Beauty therapy etc. who want to add another skill and recognized qualification to their practice.               

3.  Nurses, Doctors, Aged Care Support Staff, etc. Who are curious to know more about Holistic Massage to assist with upskilling hours or to be curious about a new skill set.

4.  People interested in getting into the Spa and Wellness sector to practice in hotels, spas, cruise ships etc.
