What You'll Need to Enrol

To meet NZQA enrolment requirements, we need to verify your identity and citizenship before your enrolment can be completed.

Proof of Identity and Citizenship

Please provide a copy of one of the following:

  • Current New Zealand Passport
  • Current Overseas Passport
  • New Zealand Birth Certificate
  • New Zealand Citizenship Certificate

Alternative Verification

If a birth certificate is not available, a verified copy of a whakapapa statement may be accepted as evidence of identity and citizenship. The statement must be signed by both the applicant and a recognised kaumātua.
