ITEC Diploma in Reflexology for the Complementary Therapist

The aim of the ITEC Diploma in Reflexology for the Complementary Therapist is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills to provide reflexology treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the Reflexology Industry.

How do I do this? 

You need to visit Nelson and stay for a week to be taught by Shelley the hands-on of miri miri massage and Reflexology on the feet and gain knowledge from her years of professional practice in her Aromaflex clinic for over 30 years.  The in-class experience is crucial to being the best reflexologist you can be, so that you can practice to become a confident, knowledgeable, experienced, and qualified therapist.  Learning other various techniques, such as, hand reflexology, and ear reflexology, is a way to provide more support for your clients and family or friends as a why to enhance your Reflexology Practice. 

The study provides client charts so you can capture client data and learn to select the right treatment style for your clients. 

One-on-one tutorials and small class sizes enable any learner to grasp this study.  There is plenty of hands-on learning, with study being reinforced through the learning platform when you go home.  As a student, you are supported by an easy-to-navigate learning system, where videos, tutorials, information and more are available online so that you can reinforce the study you have gained in Nelson from the comfort of your own home.

There is plenty of student support along the way, and the study can take one to two years. The learner also has the option to complete the in-house qualification (that is nationally recognized with RNZ), or if you wish to attain the ITEC Diploma, that can be arranged by sitting these exams at the end of every year.

AromaScience Training is currently working on an NZQA New Zealand Diploma in Holistic Reflexology (Level 6).  If you are interested in providing support for this qualification, please fill in the attached form so that we can provide this information to the Industry Skills Board as part of our qualification application to deliver in New Zealand.   Delivery of this qualification is aimed for March 2026.
