The aim of the ITEC Diploma in Reflexology for the Complementary Therapist is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills to provide reflexology treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the Reflexology Industry.
How do I do this?
You need to visit Nelson for three weeks of the year to be taught by Shelley the hands-on, practical aspects of Reflexology and to gain knowledge from her years of professional practice in her Aromaflex clinic. The in-class experience is crucial to becoming the best reflexologist you can be, so you can practice and become a confident, knowledgeable, experienced, and qualified therapist. Learning other various techniques, such as hand reflexology and ear reflexology, is a way to provide more support for your clients and family or friends as a way to enhance your Reflexology Practice.
The study provides client charts to help you capture client data and learn to select the right treatment style for your clients.
One-on-one tutorials and small class sizes enable any learner to grasp this study. There is plenty of hands-on learning, with study being reinforced through the learning platform when you go home. As a student, you are supported by an easy-to-navigate learning system, where videos, tutorials, information and more are available online so that you can reinforce the study you have gained in Nelson from the comfort of your own home.
There is plenty of student support along the way, and the study can take one to two years. The learner also has the option to complete the in-house qualification (which is nationally recognised with RNZ), or, if you wish to attain the ITEC Diploma, to arrange to sit these exams at the end of every year.
