Foot Care Assistant Micro-credential
Develop Safe Foot Care Skills

Blended Learning • Level 4 • 25 Credits • NZQA Approved

Introduction

Develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide basic foot care safely in healthcare settings under the guidance of a registered podiatrist. This NZQA-approved Level 4 micro-credential prepares learners to understand foot health, infection control, safe practice, documentation, communication, cultural considerations, and the clear limits of the Foot Care Assistant role.

Whether you are working in aged care, community health, disability support, or another healthcare setting, this programme supports safe, supervised foot care practice and helps build capability in New Zealand's foot care workforce.

Why Study Foot Care?
